Westsylvania Blues Happy Hour / Funnest Business in Town

The Delaney Chevrolet Westsylvania Jazz and Blues Festival will hold its annual Westsylvania Blues Happy Hour on April 13, from 7 to 9 pm. It will be preceded by the “Funnest Business in Town” competition from 5 to 6:45pm. Both events take place at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Indiana, PA.

Gene Sweeney has been playing professionally as a blues guitarist and singer for over 30 years. A native son of the steel-working town of Johnstown, Gene has an authentic blue-collar blues style that comes across in his soulful vocals and guitar solos. He currently performs with the band Who’s Your Daddy as well as Gene Sweeney and the Blues Gypsies. A great guy, and a great musician. Mark your calendar and come see what makes Gene the real deal!

Gene Sweeney and the Blues Gypsies are: Gene Sweeney, guitar and vocals; Steve Spack, bass guitar; John Mundy, drums; “Cajun” Norm, keys; Adam Mundok, harmonica and percussion

Admission is $20. All proceeds benefit the Delaney Chevrolet Westsylvania Jazz & Blues Festival.
